Sorry it's been so quiet on the posting front, I've had some computer issues. :/ But now we're good!
Here are some studies. Let's just say value enjoys throwing its' own parties. And I never get invited. But it's all good, I learned a bunch!

Dynamics- ncloth Flag wave

I did this for a dynamics assignment in my 3d animation class. There are things I would still tweak, but I am generally pleased with the result. I discovered lighting and texturing are really fun. Someday I will stop doing blobby mountain backgrounds.

Purple Diamond

I just wanted to experiment with a diamond/jewel material in Maya. It was fun to learn about caustics/reflections/refractions. I created this from an awesome tutorial on the 3d Total website.
